Prof. Ogunwale became a Professor at OAU, Ife in 2015. He was Acting Head of the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, OAU, Ife for two years. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Linguistics, African and Asian Studies, University of Lagos in 2006 to 2007.
