Dr. Fálẹ́yẹ, Adéọlá Adijat is a First Class graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, serial award winner with the Best Overall result of the Faculty of Arts for the 1997/98 set. She had her master’s degree in Yoruba Language and Literatures with a Proceed Grade in 2005, and her Doctorate in Yoruba Literature in 2015 at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. An erudite scholar, Dr. Fálẹ́yẹ has written and published well-researched articles, chapters in books, in both local and foreign outlets. She has nine audio albums to her credit which speak to her competence and verse knowledge in Oral Literature and Performance Studies. These works currently serve as teaching aids to students and researchers alike. She has edited a compendium of Ifá book, written story books, and also served at different fora as book reviewer. In the last two decades, Dr. Fálẹ́yẹ’s teaching and research scholarship covers Cultural Semiotics, Media and Reception theory, Sociology of Literature application, Literary Analysis, Festivals, Tourism, Translation Studies, Gender Issues, Oral Literatures and Performance Studies. She has a great track record in publishing, academic and editorial activities. She has served as the Guest Editor of the Yorùbá Studies Review Journal, a reputable publishing outlet based in United State of America. She is well-published in Online Accredited and Impact Factored Journals across the globe.
