Dr Kolawole Adeniyi is a DAAD Scholar and Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. His areas of interest are the phonologies of West Benue-Congo languages, with particular focus on tone system, language change, orthographies and interdisciplinary studies.
